Three people were killed and two were extremely injured after a small plane crashed at the Riverwoods area. The plane was carrying a medical patient and four more from Florida heading to Chicago. The plane’s pilot, who was not yet identified, the patient’s wife, Ilomae Bialek, 75, were found dead inside the plane, and her husband, John Bialek, also died on his way to the hospital after the crash. The two who survived but acquired serious injuries were known as the pilot-in-training and the flight paramedic.
