Four people were pronounced dead after a small plane crashed at northern part of Silverton. The single-engine plane left Saturday afternoon from Durango going to Aspen but just 40 minutes after the take off, the emergency signal was tracked at Silverton area. The search operation was delayed due to very bad weather and it was resumed the following day despite the heavy snow fall. Search team found two bodies at the crash site and still continue searching for the other two after the team confirmed that nobody had survived during the crash because of the thick snow covering the debris.
